This was a test to see if I could put 50 different designs together for buildings made only with a maximum of 6 40' containers and 6 20' containers. After I did 50, I thought why not do 100. I assembled each one, photographed it, took it down and built the next as quick as possible. A test in efficiency and fast decision making. I am very interested in re using containers as homes. They are abundant, inexpensive, durable and…

in a state...ambiguous Gabriel is a writer trying to pen the perfect story, and Wigworm is an ear-wig that wants some lunch. Together they collaborate on what qualities make up perfection. But their creation, Kyle, turns out to be gay. Did God make him this way? Panic and Hysteria appear and start creating characters too. As Gabriel wrestles with his demons, Kyle fends off the fictional women in his life. Will they be able to reconcile their hopes and desires with…

It is always worth getting up early. Whether it is for a nice cup of coffee, an early bike or a canoe on a calm lake, it is better before everyone else wakes. We took advantage of the nice morning weather to snap a few pics while camping up near Parry Sound. The rain rolled in soon after and killed our lighting, but we managed a few goodies in time. We took a trip to the EX last week to get some night shots of the rides and games. The weather co-operated with us and the rain cleared up before we had to head out. We wanted to get as long an exposure as possible to blur the line between the movement, the lighting and the object itself. We survived the crowds and the carnies to get these great shots. Enjoi. I recently had the opportunity to photograph a custom painted Mike Giant Edition Leader track bike. I set the bright white bike among a dingy dark basement to get a great contrast. The lighting was low but the bike was bright. Thanks to Bikes on Wheels for giving me the chance to take some great shots. [gallery link="file" ids="1289,1290,1291" orderby="rand"]

After struggling with various different pains and injuries over the past few race seasons, I decided to make a drastic change to my footwear. I contact the Danish shoe manufacturer ECCO to get a pair of their Biom A 2.1 Natural Motion running shoes. These shoes take a completely different stance, no pun intended, than most other companies. Instead of adding extra foam and support to the sole of the shoe, they give you an incredibly low stance and flexible…

[gallery] Before my trip to Europe in late October, I felt it necessary to get a new camera. My previous digital had commited suicide a while before. I wanted something powerfull with great adjustability, but light enough to ride with around my neck. I got a new Canon G11. Everything worked out well, and my third love has turned out to be a gracious lover.

[gallery] With everybody and their sister having access to good carbon fiber out of Taiwan now, it is the smart companies and innovative designers that come out on top. Every company is trying to take their slice of the pie in the triathlon/time trial market. The bikes are used as a bit of a showcase to show how the company sees its self and how clever they think they are. Every small seemingly insignificant detail is tested, re tooled, and…
