With everybody and their sister having access to good carbon fiber out of Taiwan now, it is the smart companies and innovative designers that come out on top. Every company is trying to take their slice of the pie in the triathlon/time trial market. The bikes are used as a bit of a showcase to show how the company sees its self and how clever they think they are. Every small seemingly insignificant detail is tested, re tooled, and tested again. Here is a small example of the bikes I liked at Interbike 2009.
