G Adventures recently relocated their London office to better suit the growing size of the region. We created an entirely new work environment, including a new kitchen, casual meeting areas, themed meeting rooms and work space for 65 people. The project relied on us to create the floor plan and desk plan, select themes and furniture to create the desired style and design. This is a custom designed awards cabinet made for the G Adventures office in Toronto. It maximized the useable space and helps highlight individual awards by giving each one a shadowbox frame effect. The cabinet was hand made by master carpenters and recessed in a 8' x 8' opening in the wall. It was lacquered for a high gloss purple and white finish, matching the adjacent custom kitchen cabinets and the companies corporate colours.

The 4 story stairwell at G Adventures Base Camp in Toronto offered a great opportunity to create a huge immersive piece. These lights are the perfect piece to complement the Steve Jobs theme of this G Adventures meeting room. The custom built Nienkamper Metronome table and Herman Miller Sayl chairs  fit directly under the colourful iMac shells. Each one was tracked down and purchased, carefully disassembled, the interiors were removed, and the shells were then reassembled. They are hardwired into a wall switch, and can be all turned on, or dimmed. Photos by: Attit Patel

This was a test to see if I could put 50 different designs together for buildings made only with a maximum of 6 40' containers and 6 20' containers. After I did 50, I thought why not do 100. I assembled each one, photographed it, took it down and built the next as quick as possible. A test in efficiency and fast decision making. I am very interested in re using containers as homes. They are abundant, inexpensive, durable and…
